The Konftel 200 conference phone system is a telephone that is designed to be used for audio conferencing calls. It connects to any analogue telephone line just like an ordinary home telephone or onto a telephone system on an analogue extension.
Natural Conference Sound
You could in theory use a standard telephone with a handsfree speaker to make you audio conferencing calls. However the speech quality would be very poor and you may even find the beginning and end of conversations are cut off when the speaker and microphone take it in turns to work.
As the Konftel 200 conference system is fully duplex it does not have this problem. Being fully duplex, when a conference call is taking place it allows the sound to flow in both directions preventing the clipping of sound off conversations.
Crystal Audio Speech
Konftel use a technology on the Konftel 200 audio conference system called OmniSound for crystal clear speech. Unlike other conferencing phones that have a microphone for each direction the Konftel 200 microphone has a 360-degree pickup. This means that instead of having three microphones the Konftel 200 has three speakers instead giving excellent sound quality.
Feature Rich Conferencing Phone
The Konftel 200 conference system is also full of other features that make using the telephone much easier. There is an easy to navigate menu, giving you access to a number of handy features and functions. The large LCD display lets you see these features, such as volume settings and the names listed in the 50 name and number phone book.
Expandable Conference System
The Konftel 200 conference system is an excellent investment and at a fantastic price as well. Also available is a bundle pack consisting of the Konftel 200 conference system with extra microphones and a remote control. This package is ideal for use in larger meeting rooms as the microphones expand the already large microphone coverage area from 30m² to 70m². You can however buy the Konftel 200 extra microphones seperately and add them to an exisitng Konftel 200 conference system.
