12 Hours Talk Time
The ClearOne MAX Wireless is supplied with a base unit that plugs directly into an analogue phone line. The MAX Wireless can then be moved up to 150 feet away from its base unit. When fully charged, the battery allows up to 12 hours of talk time with a 36 hour standby. Its automatic power save mode helps to conserve this battery life. The battery is available to buy seperately.
Optional Twin Pack
There are two ClearOne models to choose from. The ClearOne MAX Wireless is a single unit, suitable for use in small offices and conference rooms. There is also the ClearOne MAXAttach Wireless expanded model which consists of two units, making it suitable for use in larger sized offices and rooms. This is because the MAXAttach conference units can be spaced out over a large conference room table in order to pick up the voices of people at the farthest ends, people who would normally be out of range and therefore not heard.
When the ClearOne MAXAttach double conference system is used, you can operate dialing, mute and volume from either phones keypad. To add yet another conference unit to the MAXAttach you need the MAX EX expansion module which provides all the connecting cables you will need plus another conference system unit. By adding a third ClearOne MAXAttach unit, the system is then suitable for use in a larger meeting room with more participants.
Superior Audio
There are a host of call enhancing features built into the MAX Wireless conference systems. ClearEffect technology provides natural, clear sounding audio and Distributed Echo Cancellation works to effectively eliminate any echo.
Noise cancelation and automatic level controls work to both cancel out distracting office background noise and keep the call participants voices balanced and consistent. By being fully duplex, all the participants can speak at the same time without any annoying speech clipping.
Three powerful microphones provide a 360-degree audio pick up and with its first-mic priority feature, only the microphone nearest to the person speaking is activated to help eliminate any hollow tunnel like sounds.
User Friendly Features
This versatile, desktop conference system is extremely easy to use, requiring minimum setup and no installation. There is a full telephone keypad with full telephone functionality. You can access an array of functions, such as volume, mute and redial, and gain quick access into an easy to understand and navigate menu.
The Large informative LCD diplay supports caller diplay and there is a 99 name and number directory. Other feature have been added on for your convenience, such as the ability to use the system whilst it’s being charged, audible alerts for if you’re out of range and the ability to attach a recording device, to capture the whole meeting, word for word.
