The DECTsys additional handset and charger is a DECT telephone designed to work with an existing DECTsys 2200 Starter Kit. How it works is the DECTsys telephone system emits a signal that the additional handset registers to through an existing handset. It is then allocated an extension number and functions just the same as the existing telephone.
As the cordless handset picks up the signal from the DECTsys system wirelessly it does not need to be plugged into a telephone socket. The only thing you will need to plug in is the charger into an electrical socket for power.
Integrates with DECTsys System
When the DECTsys additional handset is registered to the DECTsys telephone system it then has access to all the features of the telephone system. These are things such as ring groups for incoming calls, line access priority, intercom calling, and transferring calls.
20 Entry Phone Book
The DECTsys cordless handset also has a 20 entry telephone book which the user can put their own contacts on. This means that they do not have to remember multiple numbers or carry this information around with them.
LCD Screen
The DECTsys cordless additional handset has an LCD screen which shows the number that has been dialled out. Also if caller display is activated on the telephone lines the DECTsys system is connected too the incoming number will be displayed.
Also available is the DECTsys DeskDect which is also an additional handset for the DECTsys system.
