If you have a Dectsys 2200 Telephone System the two models available are the desk version or the handheld version. Both of these telephones are wireless and pick up the DECT wireless signal sent by the telephone system. The only difference is the shape of the telephone and how they are powered.
Wireless Desk DECT
As the Deskdect is a DECT telephone the signal that it picks up is digital giving excellent sound quality and range. It has a battery allowing a talk time of 10 hours without charging and also a power supply to keep it plugged in and powered all the time.
DECTsys Compatible
The Deskdect telephone can transfer calls and ring internally on the Dectsys 2200 Telephone System just the same as the handheld models can. The only thing that the Deskdect can not do is work with the DECTsys wireless repeater.
Feature Rich Desk Phone
The DECTsys Deskdect is packed full of features such as a handsfree speaker which allows you to perform other tasks as you are not holding the handset. Also if you have regular contacts you call there is a 50 number directory and also 6 memory buttons for extra quick dialling.
The display on the DECTsys Deskdect will allow you to see the telephone number that you have dialled and also the incoming number if caller display is activated.
The DECTsys desk telephone is a great choice of telephone when you work at your desk on a regular basis. However it is also cordless giving you that flexibility of moving desks without having to completely rewire.
