The distinctive Polycom SoundStation2 conference phone is fitted with a host of effective technologies that enhance the call and voice quality, and add to its usability. Polycom’s patented Acoustic Clarity Technology allows users to hold a natural and clear sounding conversation, without any distracting clipping.
The Polycom SoundStation2 conference phone has full duplex capabilities so all meeting participants can speak at once and be heard. Its Dynamic Noise Reduction (DNR) technology allows full microphone sensitivity whilst reducing and cutting out distracting office and background noise.
Expandable Versions Available
The Polycom SoundStation2 conference phone provides a 360-degree room coverage along with an intelligent mixing feature. This ensures only the microphone nearest to the person speaking is active, which helps to reduce any unwanted sound pick-up from the other microphones.
You have the ability to increase this coverage by choosing an expandable Polycom SoundStation2 conference phone and adding extra microphones. Available are the non expandable SoundStation2, the expandable SoundStation2 or even the bundle pack that supplies the expandable SoundStation2 with two extra microphones.
A non expanded Polycom SoundStation2 conference phone is suitable for use with 10 participants, and the expandable version when used with the extra microphones will accommodate up to 20 participants. This is because when the extra microphones are attached to the conference phone they increase the microphone pick up range.
This enables the Polycom SoundStation2 to reach people sat at the far end of the table who’s voices might not normally be picked up, thus allowing a greater coverage in larger rooms. The standard length for voice pick up on a non expanded SoundStation 2 conference phone is 10 feet.
Large Backlit Display Screen
The stylish and functional design of the Polycom SoundStation2 conference phones keypad provides you with all the commonly used telephone features. Its easy to navigate large backlit graphical LCD display will always keep you fully informed by providing easy to understand call information throughout the call.
You are offered a choice of ring tones, adjust the volume, mute, and redial at the touch of a button. There is a 25 entry phone book, speed dials, call duration and even caller display. The user interface on the Polycom SoundStation2 conference phone is also multi-lingual.
The tabletop Polycom SoundStation 2 conference phone system is virtually plug and play. Requiring connection to both an analogue phone socket and a power source the conference phone is then ready to use.
