Retell 650 False Recording Prevention
The problem with most telephone recording connectors is they are just there to pass any sound coming from the telephone, to the recorder. However what they do not prevent is background noise in the office being picked up by the phones handset, which in turn treats it as a call and makes a recording.
The Retell 650 however has the ability to tell when a call begins and ends so there is not this problem. This means that the Retell 650 can not be activated by any normal room noise.
Another benefit of the Retell 650 interface is that it will record the silence and pauses in a phone call, where some standard recorders may treat the gaps as separate calls.
Retell 650 Telephone Compatibility
The Retell 650 also has the ability to tune into any office telephone with a standard handset socket (RJ11). Even if the phone is on a telephone system the Retell 650 intelligent interface has the ability to be configured to the correct settings.
