Accept or Block Calls
Friends and family can be flagged up on your Star list meaning that calls from friends and family are immediately accepted and not rejected. You can also build up a Zap list which is an alternative list of black listed and unwanted callers. You can add people to your Zap list as and when you receive their calls and build a comprehensive list of calls to reject in the future. When you receive a call from a number on your Zap list you can set the trueCall call blocker to play a polite pre-recorded rejection message, record your own message or set the trueCall so the caller thinks that the phone is just ringing out, like you are not at home. You need to have caller display on your phone in order to use both these features.
Choose the Features you Want
A number of features and functions are available as standard on the trueCall call blocker like its handy Whisper feature which asks the caller who they are and then announces them to you so you can choose to take the call or not. There is also a range of more advanced features like personal greetings and announcements, nightshield and code access. You can choose to use any or all of the features from the list as you see fit and depending on your personal needs.
Plugs into a Domestic Phone Line
The trueCall is designed to connect directly onto a domestic phone line via the wall socket and is compatible with all main service providers. The trueCall call blocker can also be used on broadband lines, just make sure it is connected into an existing microfilter. It is not compatible for use on a digital exchange (i.e. a company switchboard where you need to dial ‘9’ to get an outside line).
Use with Corded or Cordless Phones
It will work with all phone types from corded desktop phones to SMS text messaging phones to cordless DECT phones but has been proven to work best with modern cordless phones.
Built-In Answer Machine
Compact and discreet, the trueCall call blocker comes with message manager, its own powerful inbuilt answer machine which means you no longer need a separate answer machine. If your current phone has a built in answer machine it is advisable to switch it off.
Access to the handy trueCall internet control panel is given for free for the first year. Through the internet control panel you can view your call log, settings and control panel.
Record Calls
The trueCall call blocker can also be used as to record calls, however please note the trueCall call recorder is additional purchase. The trueCall call recorder comprises of an SD memory card which allows the trueCall main unit to make convenient and legal recordings of conversations and calls. You must already have the trueCall call blocker. The memory card can then be plugged into a computer and the recordings can be stored to hard disk through the trueCall message centre software. You can store from 70 to 140 hours of recordings this way dependant on the varaint of trueCall SD memory card you choose.
