Fax machines are available in various formats, including laser, inkjet and ink ribbon (inkfilm).

Fast Data Transferral

Despite fax machines having been around for quite a while, they are still actively used in most offices due to their ease of use and low operational costs. Fax machines scan documents before sending the content to another fax machine, anywhere in the world. Many fax machines also have integrated answering machines for additional functionality.

Whilst basic fax machines start at just 9,600bps, most machines deliver around 14,400bps with faster fax machines transmitting at 33,600bps. This makes them extremely fast at transferring data between two points

Range of Integrated Features

Minimum features on a fax machines include speed dials, one-touch speed dials, automatic sheet feeder and out of paper memory storage. Additional features may include faster printing & transmission, digital answering system and DECT technology.
