The Brother T104 fax machine and copier is just the same as an analogue telephone like you would have at home. This means that it will connect to a standard BT telephone line or any other analogue line you may have.
Also if you want to connect the Brother T104 into a telephone system it will connect as long as it is to an analogue extension. It will not work on an extension designed for a specific type of system telephone.
Brother Fax Consumables
The Brother T104 uses the PC-75 cassette including 144 sheet ribbon. If you keep the original cassette you can purchase just the ribbon refill and use it with the original cassette. The ribbon refills are as follows:
