Despite being compact and small, the Jabra BT8040 is certainly big in every other department. Weighing less than 10 grams, the Jabra BT8040 is extremely lightweight.
Its unique wearing style requires no ear hook and the 3rd generation Jabra ear gels mould and contour perfectly to your ear to provide a personalised and harmonious fit. There are 3 different Jabra BT8040 ear gel sizes provided in the pack.
Jabra MultiPoint Technology
With MultiPointÔ technology, the Jabra BT8040 can be simultaneously paired to two Bluetooth enabled devices at once, for example a mobile phone and a PDA, and switching between devices is both quick and easy. The pairing time is significantly decreased and made much easier thanks to its auto pairing feature.
Call Enhancing Technologies
The Jabra BT8040 is packed with advanced features, like acoustic shock protection which constantly protects you against damaging sudden loud noises and DSP / digital signal processing technology. There is also built-in active noise reduction, which enhances the transmit and receive sound quality and intelligent volume settings, which works to equalize the incoming audio volume by automatically amplifying a quiet voice and reducing a noisy one.
Play Music Wirelessly
You can play music wirelessly from mobile phones, PC’s and media players with the Jabra BT8040, and listen to pod-casts or internet radio through A2DP without the need for headphones.
Large Talk Time
You have up to 6 hours talk time and a 200 hour standby with the Jabra BT8040, meaning it will carry on working throughout the busiest of days.
User friendly Controls
A host of features can be accessed through a range of controls located on the side of the headset. You can answer / end calls, adjust the volume, mute calls and put the headset in quiet mode. Dependent on your phone model, you can also access voice dialing, call hold and call waiting functions, reject a call and access last number redial.
Supplied with two charging methods, you can charge your Jabra BT8040 in the home or office with the AC charger or alternatively use the USB charger for PC charging.
