The Plantronics APP-5 electronic hook switch (EHS) is a Polycom phone specific hook switch which is designed to allow users to answer and calls through their Plantronics wireless headsets remotely.
Users are notified of an incoming call through an audible beep through their Plantronics wireless headset, calls can then be answered by the touch of a button on the headset.
Streamline Design
Unlike the Plantronics HL10 handset lifter, the Plantronics APP-5 electronic hook switch (EHS) is streamline and has no moving mechanical parts, all the workings of the Plantronics APP-5 are contained within a discreet and compact wire.
Quick Connection
The Plantronics APP-5 electronic hook switch (EHS) connects easily to the base unit of your Plantronics wireless headset and then connects directly to a compatible Polycom phone. Connection takes a matter of seconds.
Polycom SoundPoint IP Compatible
The Plantronics APP-5 is compatible with a number of Polycom phones, including the SoundPoint IP 320, 330, 430, 550 and 650 - please note, the Polycom SoundPoint IP 320 and 330 phones will also require a Plantronics RJ11 – 2.5mm connection cable. You can use the Plantronics APP-5 with the Plantronics CS60, CS70N, CS351N and CS361N wireless headsets.
