Setting up the ATL Berkshire M-Cat
It is important that the telephone line that the ATL Berkshire M-Cat card telephone is barred from receiving incoming calls, and outgoing can only make emergency or 0800 calls. This is to stop anyone making reverse charge phone calls to the telephone, and still allows the ATL Berkshire M-Cat phone to make the payment calls.
To set the ATL Berkshire M-Cat phone up you will need to connect a company called CreditCall to set up the phone. It is this company that will take payment for the calls made by debit or credit card.
Payment Card Payphone
The ATL Berkshire M-Cat payphone will accept Mastercard, Visa, American Express, Diners Club, and Delta. Since the site owner is not collecting revenue directly from the user, CreditCall pay a site owner's revenue share based on a fixed percentage of the value of calls made. At the standard CreditCall tariff, this is at least 20% of the net call revenue and is paid directly into a nominated bank account on a quarterly basis.
Another payment method is pre paid phone cards that can also be purchased through CreditCall. A profit margin can be made on the sale of cards to users and this is determined by the tariff chosen.
