The ATL Berkshire 600 business telephone is an analogue business telephone designed to plug into an analogue BT line or an analogue extension on a telephone system.
Most telephone systems when using analogue phones require the telephone to have a recall button to put the call on hold. The ATL Berkshire 600 has a recall button that is also fully switchable from ELR/TBR which is the most common standard on modern phone systems.
Berkshire with Handsfree
With a handsfree speaker the ATL Berkshire 600 is the first telephone in the range that allows the user to talk with the handset down. If you want to make a conference call allowing multiple users to listen it is possible through its loudspeaker. Also if a user wants to talk handsfree for long periods there is also a separate headset socket on the ATL Berkshire 600 telephone as well.
However if you wanted to use a wireless headset the ATL Berkshire 600AG has bluetooth capability.
Speed Dial Memories
Also on the ATL Berkshire 600 are 12 speed dial buttons that can be used to access the phones speed dial memories. Each of the these buttons can hold two telephone numbers meaning the ATL Berkshire 600 telephone has a speed dial memory of 24 telephone numbers.
Berkshire with LCD
The ATL Berkshire 600 also has an LCD screen which shows the time and date as well as the numbers dialled. It does not show caller display so if you need this feature you would need the ATL Berkshire 800 model.
