It also allows you to programme up to 10 switch on and off times to suit your opening hours, using any of up to five different outgoing messages (OGMs). Other neat tricks include the ability to heighten call quality by opting for a 30 minute recording capacity and automatic notification to your mobile that a message has been received (as long as your line is compatible). If you’re at the larger end of the SME scale you’ll need both greater capacity and functionality. Enter the Retell 570 Professional Answering Machine Centre which offers all the features of the 540 but with a massive four hours of high quality digital recording capacity and storage for 199 rather than 100 incoming messages. It also provides for up to 14 user adjustable OGMs (plus one pre-set) which can be as long as you like, (within the recording capacity) and again may be programmed to suit your business hours.
It also offers a USB connection so you can configure the answering machine from the comfort of your own PC, send and receive SMS text message and even transfer and save messages to computer in WAV format. In addition it can be used for automatic conversation recording and for dictation.
