Purchasing two cordless telephones for two lines will mean that the cordless handsets on line one will not talk to the cordless handsets on line two. However as the DECTsys 2200 starter kit is connected to two telephone lines, all the handsets registered will talk to each other.
DECTsys 2200 Cordless Telephone System
Every handset registered to the DECTsys 2200 starter kit has the ability to pick up a call from both lines, and make a call through both telephone lines. If a call is answered and it is for somebody else the DECTsys 2200 cordless phones will even transfer the call to the handset it should be for.
Even if you want to just communicate with another phone on the DECTsys system you can ring each handset internally as well.
DECTsys 2200 Cordless Handsets
When purchased the DECTsys 2200 cordless system comes with two cordless handsets. In total the DECTsys 2200 starter kit can have 15 extensions registered. These extensions can either be the DECTsys 2200 desk phone or the DECTsys 2200 walk around phone.
If you have an environment which is slightly larger you can also expand the range of the DECTsys 2200 starter kit with the Dectsys Repeater, however the DECTsys desk phones will not work in an expanded area.
