A good PMR

I was dubious about these... thought they looked a little bit "toy like" from the picture, but once in your hands, tht blue front is rather appealing. I would say that they are a little bit plastic looking, and don't seem to have the robust feel I had expected. That said, having owned an old set of Cobras, I chose these knowing the brand.
They do everything my others did, and although the menu system (and instructions) seeem a little complicated, you do get used to them after a few uses.
The 12km range hasn't been tested yet, but across a 1/2 mile industrial development with loads of metal warehouses and overhead lines they performed exceptionally.....
A good buy!
