Conferencing Compatibility

The first consideration when establishing compatibility for conferencing equipment is whether the phone extension is analogue or digital.

For digital extensions on phone systems, it is important to ensure you choose the correct conferencing system for that type of system. If you have an analogue extension on your phone system, then you have much greater choice of conference unit. If you need assistance please contact our customer service experts or consult the phone system user guide.

Internet Based Conferencing Systems

It should also be noted that Conferencing systems connected to a broadband line will need a microfilter on each extension socket. IP or VoIP conference units will need to be connected to a computer which runs the appropriate software or an IP extension on a phone system.

Most conference systems use a 2.5mm jack plug to connect headsets but check the model specifications on our product pages. Some of the latest conference units are Bluetooth enabled which allows them to connect to Bluetooth mobile phones.

To make sure that your conferencing equipment is compatible with your system, please check the compatibility information on the product pages for more information.
