Konftel Conference Phone with Wireless Headset

Konftel Claims Wireless World First
Konftel has launched what it reports is the first conference phone in the world to support a wireless headset. The Konftel 200AUX simultaneously transmits sound from the headset and the unit’s microphone, giving users greater freedom and flexibility.
Indeed the groundbreaking conferencing unit combines that liberty with power. Designed for small and medium sized conference rooms up to 320 sq.ft. (30 sq.m.), it can extend its range up to 700 sq. ft. (70 sq. m.) through expansion microphones. But the wireless capability enables dialogue outside of the reception area, a particular useful feature when, say, the user wants to highlight or demonstrate a point within a presentation.
Sounds sophisticated
Not surprisingly the Konftel 200AUX also exploits existing Konftel technologies, such as its OmniSound® system which delivers clear and natural full-duplex sound with 360o sound pick up and reproduction. This is delivered via what the manufacturer describes as an “ultra-sensitive” microphone and three integral speakers. Other standard features include a large, illuminated graphic display to host menu options which includes a 50 number memory phonebook and flash key for multi-party calls. Optional extras include a remote control, expansion microphones and, of course, a wireless headset.
Clever and simple
Whilst a clever little unit it’s easy to connect and set up. The unit can be linked to an analog PBX or PSTN and supports RJ-11, with an auxiliary port for RJ-45 cabling included to host the wireless headset connection. The latter is compatible with models in GN Netcom’s GN 9350 and GN 9120 ranges.
